Once I bought a carnation flower because I love the colour pink. I never imagined that these flowers could be so beautiful. It excites me to find hidden gems within flowers.
In this particular painting, it was the coral pink that intrigued me, that is found in the centre of the flower, forming a heart-shaped petal in the middle surrounded by dancing petals.
Feelings created by such image are different for every person. So what kind of reaction does this flower awaken in you?
My journey brought me back to my childhood, a little girl dancing carelessly and happily, enveloped by my parents love, especially my dad's endearment. He adored me. So this flower special to me as it represents my dad's love for his daughter.
